Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at the State of Georgia. As a key member of our Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to patients, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients and diagnose conditions
  • Provide treatments and direct care and treatment of patients
  • Direct nurses, aides, and others in clinical operations
  • Participate in research efforts and contribute to the development of clinical operations
Requirements

Must have a strong background in forensic psychiatry and experience in clinical leadership. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
