Job Overview

Position: CNC Boring Operator

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The CNC Boring Operator plays a crucial role in the operation and setup of advanced computer numeric controlled boring machines, ensuring that all output meets the quality benchmarks established by Workstream Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and program the CNC boring system effectively.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of components to identify any defects.
  • Accurately drill materials to specified measurements.
  • Adhere to the production timeline and schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Carry out routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience with manufacturing machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in using measuring tools for precision.
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and keyboarding.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to walk, talk, and operate material handling equipment.
  • Close vision required for detailed assessments.
  • Capability to lift, push, pull, or carry weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to stoop, bend, kneel, or crawl as needed.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP

  • This role reports directly to the Mill Supervisor.
