Job Summary

**Production Supervisor**

Semtech Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to support the Colorado Springs Elkton manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the production workforce supporting the advanced packaging of wafer and die level silicon products.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Collaborate with Operations Manager** to understand current demands and upcoming needs of the organization, setting goals for daily operations within the fab and directing operator priorities accordingly.
  • **Identify and resolve obstacles** to stated goals, seeking assistance from management, engineers, and/or maintenance as needed.
  • **Lead a team of operators**, responsible for directing operators in accordance with company policy and reporting violations to HR.
  • **Perform all operator functions**, operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing machines, including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of semiconductor products.
Requirements
  • **2+ years Machine Operator experience** or equivalent experience.
  • **Broad training in a related field**, usually acquired through college-level education or work-related experience.
  • **Ability to work compressed work shifts** and participate in meetings/classes on unscheduled days.
  • **Strong people skills**, with the understanding that they need to train at the individual's learning ability.
  • **Good mechanical aptitude**, vision/finger dexterity, and attention to detail.
  • **Ability to read and comprehend component part markings and polarity**.
  • **Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills**.
  • **Professional and positive communication skills**.
  • **Proven ability to work independently** with minimal supervision and effectively manage time and priorities.
  • **Valid driver's license**.

Production Supervisors are non-exempt, eligible for quarterly bonuses, and shift differentials if applicable. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, personal time off, and other benefits available.
