Cardiac Care Travel Nurse RN

The Cardiac Care Travel Nurse RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a specialized Cardiac Observation Unit. This role requires strong cardiac skills and the ability to manage patients effectively in a progressive care setting.
Certification Requirements- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ONLY)
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA ONLY)
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA ONLY)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute

- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The nurse will be working in a Cardiac Observation Unit with a current patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, aiming for a goal of 1:4.
Traveler ExpectationsAll traveling nurses are expected to float within the unit as necessary. Additionally, travelers must be available to work during two out of the three major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Important Notes- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with the application.
- Travelers should ensure that their RTO does not cover more than one of the specified holidays.
