We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant or Nurse Apprentice to join our Critical Care team at St. Luke's Health System. As a critical care nursing assistant or apprentice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our Emergency Department, ICU/CCU, and Telemetry units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and symptoms to nursing staff
- Assist with patient transfers and transports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current CNA certification in the State of Practice or Nurse Apprentice letter
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
