- Collaborate with licensed physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and medical needs.
- Prescribe medications and order medical treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois.
- Unrestricted Illinois Nurse Practitioner license, Illinois Controlled Substance License, Federal DEA, Illinois RN license.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Spanish fluency highly desired.
- Federally Qualified Health Center with opportunity for loan repayment.
