Job Title: Cytotechnologist

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. in Shreveport, Louisiana.

About the Job

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, and a competitive salary package.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cytological examinations and provide diagnostic reports
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in cytotechnology
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations
  • Current licensure and certification in cytotechnology
