Key Responsibilities

  • Assess acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, interpreting ECGs, noting arrhythmias, and intervening in emergency situations.
  • Work with a 36-bed unit, having a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for various acuity levels, including medical patients, abdominal surgical, general surgical, neuro, pulmonary, renal, infection, and more.
  • Provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care following established nursing models like 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.'
  • Act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

Benefits and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required.
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
  • ACLS required within 6 months.
