Position Overview:

In this role, you will operate under the guidance of a healthcare provider to conduct EEGs, both while the patient is awake and asleep. You will be responsible for performing technical tasks related to electroencephalographic (EEG) examinations, supplying physicians with crucial insights into neurological and nervous system functions.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Cardiopulmonary Director.

Employment Classification:

Non-exempt


Essential Qualifications:

Educational Background

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Completion of a relevant program in the field is mandatory.

Key Skills:

Candidates must possess excellent communication abilities and collaborate effectively with physicians to deliver patient care and diagnostic assessments. Experience with EMGs and nerve conduction studies is advantageous but not required.

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

- ACLS certification is acceptable in place of BLS as it represents a higher qualification.

- EEG certification is required upon employment.

- Registry in the discipline is preferred.
