Job Title: Attorney Advisor

At the General Accountability Office, we are seeking a highly skilled Attorney Advisor to provide expert legal counsel and advice on a wide range of laws relevant to federal practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on federal laws and regulations, including 2 CFR, Part 200
  • Research and apply financial assistance statutes and regulations
  • Review and provide input on contract documents, including solicitations, statements of work, and contract specifications
  • Participate in source selections and provide oral and written advice on pre-award procurement issues
Requirements:
  • Graduate with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the bar in one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, U.S. Commonwealth, or U.S. Territory
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience providing legal counsel and advice to federal grant and financial assistance programs
  • Knowledge of financial assistance statutes and regulations, including 2 CFR, Part 200
