We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at TAG Refrigeration. As a key member of our commercial service team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration systems in grocery stores and other commercial establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, including self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, and other mechanical and electrical components.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
  • Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems to identify specifications and requirements.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
  • Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
  • Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work vans.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior HVAC/R experience.
  • Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed.
  • Universal EPA License and Electrical License are a plus.
  • 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience and related education/certification in the HVAC and refrigeration industry are highly desirable.
