About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team at The Sycamore of River Falls. As an essential member of our care staff, you will provide personalized support to senior residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
This part-time caregiver role involves working 16 hours every two weeks, with a shift differential of $1 per hour for evening shifts. Every other weekend rotation is also included in the schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal cares, such as bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
- Provide health-related services under the direction of a Nurse, including passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Perform various tasks like laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
- Observe residents' status and report it to appropriate staff.
- Assist with onboarding new staff members.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with compassion and kindness towards residents and coworkers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and support others.
- Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
- CNA certification if under 18 years old.
