Job Overview

Woodie's Auto Service & Repair is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing quality tire installations, battery installations, lubrication, oil and filter service, inspection procedures, and various other mechanical repairs on all makes and models of cars and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality tire installations, battery installations, lubrication, oil and filter service, inspection procedures, and various other mechanical repairs on all makes and models of cars and trucks.
  • Work on a variety of vehicles, including cars and trucks, to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
  • Use a range of tools and equipment, including pneumatic tools, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role; ASE certification a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
