Job Overview:

Mount Rogers Community Services is in search of a skilled and committed professional to take on the role of ACT Team Lead. In this position, you will oversee the Assertive Community Treatment program, delivering essential treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals grappling with severe and persistent mental health challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily clinical functions of the ACT team, which includes facilitating staff meetings and treatment planning discussions
  • Manage the client intake process and coordinate treatment services in partnership with the psychiatrist
  • Perform thorough assessments for each client, addressing various dimensions of their health and personal circumstances
  • Engage in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members
  • Ensure adherence to medical record management and organizational policies
  • Develop and uphold program policies and procedures
  • Maintain a caseload of clients requiring counseling services
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in treating individuals with severe mental health issues
  • Prior experience in supervisory and program management roles is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Assertive Community Treatment Model
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage a clinical treatment team
Minimum Qualifications:
  • ACT Team Lead I (Level 15): Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, eligible for supervised residency towards LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • ACT Team Lead II (Level 16): Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline; Licensure required (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
