Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients throughout the labor process, identifying potential complications and taking appropriate action.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections, and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
  • Administer medications as ordered, including pain management and other treatments for medical conditions.
  • Perform phlebotomy and other basic nursing skills as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current nursing license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of Labor and Delivery experience.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN. Fetal Monitoring.
