CT Imaging Specialist

The Travel CT Technologist role at Hilo Medical Center involves performing essential imaging procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Certification Requirements- BLS/BCLS Certification
- All candidates must secure an active State of Hawaii license upon acceptance of the offer.
- It is mandatory for the candidate to possess a Hawaii License before commencing the assignment.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
- The technologist must be proficient in conducting scans according to radiologist protocols, performing at least routine CT scans, and working independently without supervision.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT equipment, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.
- Experience in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging, as well as procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke management is advantageous.
- Must hold a State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Shifts may vary based on operational needs. There is no on-call requirement.
Additional InformationCandidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; no exceptions will be made.
