Registered Nurse Med Surg Neuro Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- One year acute care Medical/Surgical/Neuro RN experience.
HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a 558-bed acute care facility known for services including emergency services, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, and robotic surgery. We offer orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics. Our hospital is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center and an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center. We are an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.
