Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Telehealth Nurse to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care while traveling across America.

About the Role

This Telehealth Nurse position requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. As a Telehealth RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and interpreting electronic data to determine the best course of treatment. You will also work closely with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic bedside care to patients
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting electronic displays and recording data as needed
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team promptly
  • Take corrective action when necessary based on information from monitoring equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid BLS certification and at least 1 year of experience in acute care. Additionally, you should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and possess specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation and Benefits
