Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Emergency Department at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals in need of immediate medical attention. Our Emergency Department sees over 60,000 patients annually, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of patients are met.
- Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed, attending to the daily operations of the unit on a per-shift basis.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland Practical Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- ACLS & PALS certification within 1 year of hire
