Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality instruction in the didactic, simulation lab, and clinical areas of teaching
  • Participate in mentoring and role modeling for PA students
  • Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator for optimal student placement
  • Partner with Clinical Simulation Manager to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical scenarios within the simulation laboratory environment

Qualifications:

  • Illinois license as Physician Assistant
  • Master's Degree required; Doctoral degree preferred
  • Two years of clinical medical experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of undergraduate teaching excellence
  • Preferred clinical practice experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Women's Health, Behavioral Health, and Surgery
