Burnett Medical Center is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, including phlebotomy, urinalysis, and molecular testing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform phlebotomy, urinalysis, chemistry kit testing, hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, and molecular testing
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results
* Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability
**Requirements:**
* Registered Medical Technologist or a four year or Masters' Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Clinical Laboratory Science
* ASCP/NCA certified
* One year of hospital experience preferred
* Ability to multi-task, work independently, and provide great customer service
