Department Summary:

The Elite Program is designed to assist first-generation college students in reaching their academic, career, and personal goals.

By offering resources, skill enhancement, and mentorship opportunities, we equip students with the essential tools needed for success in their educational journey and beyond.

Position Overview:

As an Elite Program Management Intern, you will immerse yourself in learning fundamental curriculum concepts and competencies as outlined by UNT Dallas Programs.

Your responsibilities will include engaging in professional development activities, cohort challenges, group projects, and individual assignments that showcase a solid understanding of key concepts and competencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be an undergraduate student at the University of North Texas at Dallas, aged 18 or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First-generation college or university scholar.
  • University of North Texas at Dallas student with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Interest in leadership development and professional services.
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing and Communications, or a related field.
Job Duties:
  • Represent UNT Dallas' Elite and Leadership programs at various events and activities.
  • Manage program-related social media platforms and create engaging content.
  • Collaborate with UNT Dallas counterparts for effective program execution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of program events.
  • Conduct research on best practices in leadership development.
  • Attend supervisor meetings and provide updates on tasks.
  • Participate in volunteer initiatives.
  • Deliver presentations for recruitment purposes.
  • Collaborate on program evaluation efforts.
  • Adhere to all program guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, varying shifts, occasional weekends.
