Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Behavior Technician to join our team. As a School Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in facilitating educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior management techniques, including prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and support students in developing independent daily living skills
- Assist in facilitating academic instruction and supporting students across various environments
- Collect and document behavioral and academic data accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of pediatric experience preferred
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
