Job Description

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Technician Trainee to join our team at McCrea Equipment Company, Inc. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC industry and build a lasting career with a family-owned business that values its employees.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform low-voltage wiring for HVAC systems.
  • Install and wire fresh air controls and zone dampers as directed.
  • Evacuate line sets to prepare systems for operation.
  • Charge heat pumps and air conditioners effectively.
  • Install thermostats and humidifiers with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Basic hand tools needed for HVAC work.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
