Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Admissions Testing team at Swedish Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients through our pre-admission process.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and current medications, ensuring nursing assessment is completed and standard of care initiated.
  • Coordinate pre-admission diagnostic testing (EKGs, Labs, CXR, etc.) and analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and document information accurately.
  • Initiate and document pre-procedure/operative instruction and discharge teaching, involving patient and family/significant other.
  • Work telephonically or in-person with patients to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care/ED.
