Join Our Team as a Hematology and Oncology Locum Tenens Physician
Compensation:
$440 to $460 per hour
Position Overview:
A prominent healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Hematology and Oncology physician to provide temporary coverage. This opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in a community known for its exceptional climate and stunning landscapes.
Practice Environment:
- Manage an average of 15-20 patients daily
- Collaborate with a dedicated support team including 1 APRN, 2 RNs, and 2 medical assistants, along with front office personnel
- Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system
Work Schedule:
- Preferred assignment duration: 3-6 months
- Workdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Hematology and Oncology procedures, including chemotherapy administration and treatment for various conditions such as anemias, lymphomas, and bleeding disorders
- Address CNS neoplasms, chest neoplasms, skeletal neoplasms, head/neck neoplasms, breast tumors, gynecological conditions, and other related health issues
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology
- Possession of an active medical license
- Current DEA and Controlled Substance certifications
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required
Travel and Accommodations:
- Comprehensive travel support including rental car, lodging, and airfare
