Job Opportunity

Clear Lakes Dental is seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering outstanding dental hygiene services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide personalized oral health advice.
  • Perform comprehensive teeth cleanings, including scaling and root planning, to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Examine patients' teeth and gums for any abnormalities and record findings for further analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' unique oral health needs.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education on good oral hygiene techniques.
  • Collaborate with dentists to manage medical and dental emergencies and assist with procedures as needed.
  • Administer anesthetics to patients and apply cavity-prevention treatments, including sealants and fluoride varnishes.

Requirements

  • Certification or degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
  • Current MN Dental Hygienist License.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice, with new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Proven dedication to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care.
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
  • CPR certification.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and reliable.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo, or Hmong a plus.
