Information Assurance Engineer

Are you an experienced cybersecurity professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with Secret Clearance to join our team at RCG in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position that offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days on-site and 2 telework days after an initial 30-60 day period on-site. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to specialize in local and enterprise-level incident response and perform multiple assigned technical tasks related to system and data security.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments of supported systems and collaborate with ISSO and vendors to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with CRIBL and collaboration with stakeholders to forward log data from firewalls, packet capture, web proxy services, network flow analysis, intrusion detection, and malware analysis tools to ESOC.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and maintenance of security posture and incident response.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (active Secret clearance preferred).
  • Familiarity with various security technologies, including Sentinel One, Splunk, Endpoint Management, Identity and Access Management, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Patch Management, EDR, Web Security, Vulnerability Scanning, Firewalls, VPN, and Secure Email.
  • Fluency in English, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
