Your responsibilities within our team
- Travel to client locations for initial setup and troubleshooting.
- Conduct repairs, maintenance, or service level agreement tasks on equipment at client sites.
- Provide flexible support to clients, including potential short-notice and off-schedule days.
- Identify and report defective materials or conditions requiring further service.
- Ensure that the client's machinery is returned in excellent cosmetic condition.
- Perform advanced diagnostics, testing, and repairs.
- Stay informed about machine designs and participate in ongoing training with support in assembly.
- Assemble spare parts and retrofit components according to specifications.
- Maintain a positive attitude daily.
- Represent the company and colleagues positively at all times.
- Exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Show initiative in excelling within the company.
- Keep the work area clean and organized on a daily basis.
- Present oneself in a professional manner.
- Participate actively in company meetings.
- Travel 75% or more to client locations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Two-year degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Machine Assembly Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with Machine-Based Inspection and Defect Detection Systems (preferred).
- Experience with Vision Inspection in the pharmaceutical packaging sector (preferred).
- Knowledge of image processing and optical systems used in manufacturing (preferred).
- 5-7 years of relevant Field Service experience (required).
- 5-7 years of experience with manufacturing and automation equipment (preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience as a traveling Field Technician (required).
- Ability to travel approximately 75% or more (required).
- Willingness to be on-call and provide weekend support (required).
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly prints.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics for assembly wiring.
- Intermediate mechanical knowledge.
- Basic technical mathematical skills.
- Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge.
- Team-oriented with a focus on achieving common goals.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Clear communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Basic computer literacy with programs such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook, and/or business software.
