About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Kumo Event Management team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to enable relevant, accurate, and timely communication to AWS customers when they need it most.

You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to ensure we are delivering interfaces that make it easy to do complex tasks without dumbing them down. If you are passionate about cloud computing and have a strong background in software development, we encourage you to apply.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on the location. We also offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications

We also prefer candidates with:

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
