Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain clinical history and informed consent from patients to assist physicians in optimizing examination performance and interpretation.
  • Coordinate new team member and student department orientation and training, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary supplies for procedures, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications, troubleshooting issues effectively.
  • Perform routine quality control testing and maintenance of image processors to ensure consistent image quality.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Work schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30pm-6:00am, with holiday and call rotation.
  • Location: Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school or program of radiography.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of imaging experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Certification: Must be certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, CAMRT, or NMTCB, with additional certification in Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI.
