ROLE SUMMARY

Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC is in search of an Azure Infrastructure Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our Azure AVD and Microsoft Intune ecosystem. A robust technical foundation coupled with a strong focus on processes related to endpoint systems and associated technologies will be essential for excelling in this position.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver technology solutions and products according to the established roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Offer strategic advice and direction to execute plans and procedures, ensuring adherence to schedules, product development, and performance standards.
  • Provide advanced support for operational teams, including conducting root cause and preventative analyses.
  • Act as a technical resource with in-depth knowledge, serving as an escalation point for the Client Support Services Team.
  • Support all aspects of the End User Computing environment, emphasizing Endpoint Security Protection and application management.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to create effective solutions.
  • Oversee the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including image creation, VM deployment, and performance monitoring.
  • Enhance and maintain the existing Knowledge Base.
  • Package, test, and deploy new applications as required.
  • Manage desktop images and adjust SCCM task sequences as necessary.
  • Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions tailored to end-user needs, managing policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Provision Windows 10 and 11: Design and deploy provisioning processes using Intune Autopilot, and configure Windows Update for Business policies.
  • Manage Active Directory Group Policy: Design and oversee Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration standards.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance measures within Intune, monitoring and addressing security incidents related to mobile devices and endpoints.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for Intune configurations, Windows provisioning processes, and Group Policy settings.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in desktop support within an enterprise setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Windows 7/10, Active Directory structures, and Group Policy management.
  • Experience in developing and testing software packages using tools like InstallShield or similar.
  • Expertise in managing a VDI environment, preferably Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Advanced knowledge in Endpoint Protection Engineering.
  • Experience managing desktop environments with Microsoft Intune.
  • Proficient in MECM and Intune.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Motivated to learn and advance professionally.
  • 8+ years of overall work experience, with at least 5 years in designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions.
  • 5 years of experience as a systems engineer.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
