Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at our Lebanon, TN clinic. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other staff members with patient care, producing high-quality radiographs, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out radiology requisitions and views, utilizing radiographic technique and PACS as needed.
  • Operate all portables and C-Arm equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
  • Memorize and implement physician-specific radiograph requirements.
  • Assist patients in positioning for radiographs, with occasional lifting required.
  • Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Stock necessary supplies and utilize radiation protection and shielding materials.
  • Assist with training and supervision of student technologists.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order, reporting malfunctions to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Import and upload outside CDs for clinic use.
  • Utilize effective communication skills, interacting with co-workers, supervisors, and outside vendors.
  • Promote Hughston Orthopaedics Medical Group, LLC in the community, greeting and interacting with patients, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Provide support or relief for other staff as needed.
  • Demonstrate confidentiality in all aspects, including patient and non-patient issues.
  • Reflect HCO values and sensitivity to HCO's ethical and compliance principles in daily activities.
  • Promote resolution of concerns and conflict through correct mechanisms or resolving situations.
  • Able to prioritize daily functions and tasks.
  • Display a willingness to problem-solve.
Requirements
  • Six months experience as a radiologic technologist required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of coursework in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT.
  • Current ARRT certification and current TN licensure.
  • BLS certification.
Special Qualifications
  • Knowledge of radiographic technique.
  • Knowledge of PACS.
  • Vast knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
  • Ability to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
  • Working knowledge of all types of portables, C-Arm, CR, and DR X-Ray equipment.
