Registered Dietitian Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian to oversee the nutritional well-being of our residents at Lucent Group. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will conduct nutrition assessments, identify residents' nutritional needs, and develop effective diet plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor residents' nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.
  • Evaluate special needs regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.
  • Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust residents' care plans.
  • Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.

Requirements:

  • One year of experience working with seniors, preferably in a Long-Term Care setting.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics, and completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship program.
  • Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulations and the survey process.
