POSITION SUMMARY: The individual in this role is accountable for the cleanliness and sanitation of all dining and beverage areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 40%: Efficiently maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including but not limited to the Banquet Preparation area, Pizza Station, Saucier/Streamer Station, Main Cooking Line, and various other locations.
- 30%: Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, grills, coolers, and other appliances.
- 25%: Sanitize surfaces including walls, sinks, and floors, while managing waste disposal from all containers.
- 5%: Ensure proper disposal of waste by transporting it to designated disposal areas.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
In addition to the essential functions, this position may require performing various supportive tasks, as determined by management based on the needs of the organization.
- Execute routine cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products to comply with health regulations.
- Assist in cleaning tasks across various food service areas.
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils.
- Respond to special requests or unexpected spills as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role requires a range of physical activities, including frequent walking, standing, and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a related field is advantageous.
UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE:
All employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance, with specific uniform guidelines provided during orientation.
