Machinist Technician

As a skilled Machinist Technician, you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including lathes, boring mills, and grinders, to produce high-quality parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Operate and maintain various machinery, including lathes, boring mills, and grinders.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate production.
• Work effectively with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and adapt to changes in machining techniques or processes.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Understanding of various machining techniques, including turning, milling, grinding, and drilling.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting and adapt to changing priorities.

This role is located at Mid-State Industrial Maintenance, where you will work in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be required to work in harsh elements, including hot and humid temperatures, and be exposed to hazardous chemicals and moving equipment.

This role requires strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy materials, tools, and machinery parts. You must also have good eyesight, including depth perception and color vision, to ensure precision in your work.
