Under the direction of a registered nurse, the Obstetric Technician performs various duties within the obstetric department, including maintaining a clean environment, operating equipment, and assisting with delivery room procedures. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care, comfort, and safety to patients, as well as provide clerical support to the team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Surgical Tech or OB Tech, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, they must have a graduate degree from a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program, Surgical Technologist Program, or CNA or LPN program. Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is also required.
