Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our veterinary team in providing top-notch care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
- Monitor and maintain patient records, including vital signs and medication administration
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and techniques
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting
- Proficiency in venous blood draws, venous catheter placement, and monitoring of sedated/general anesthesia procedures
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for animal health and well-being
