The Surgical Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering patient care within the Operating Room by employing sterile techniques while prioritizing the needs of surgical patients and demonstrating the core values of care, concern, respect, and collaboration.

As an integral member of the healthcare team, you will contribute to a comprehensive surgical care plan for assigned patients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and organizing OR equipment and supplies.
  • Preparing and operating room equipment efficiently.
  • Conducting counts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Exhibiting fundamental case preparation skills by selecting equipment and supplies based on preference cards.
  • Locating essential equipment and supplies promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma along with training acquired through work experience or education.
  • Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant job experience is advantageous.
