As a Radiology Specialist for the Cardiology Unit at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. About the Job

This 13-week contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to operate advanced imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT) scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists to interpret.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists to interpret
  • Assist patients with preparation for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • A valid ARRT certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R)
  • 1-2 years of experience in CT scanning or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This amount reflects the estimated annual salary for a CT Technologist in the Knoxville, TN area, based on national averages and industry standards.
