We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, evaluate, and revise plans of care to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy and procedures.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care, including education and support for patients and families.
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIHSS certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
