Immigration Attorney

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our team at The Matian Firm, APC. As an Associate Immigration Attorney, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in removal proceedings and managing a caseload of complex immigration cases.

• Develop and implement effective strategies for clients in removal proceedings
• Represent clients in Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals
• Manage and prioritize a caseload of immigration cases
• Conduct intakes with detained individuals and prepare them for court testimony
• Prepare and submit immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions
• Review and analyze immigration applications and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law
• Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy
• Provide legal analysis and guidance to clients on their immigration options

• At least 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
