Job Summary

The Floor Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for maintaining and restoring floors in assigned locations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate industrial floor care equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
  • Operate industrial floor care equipment, including floor strippers, burnishers, and vacuum cleaners, to clean and maintain floors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and restorative processes on all floor surface types, including hard floors, carpets, and upholstered surfaces.
  • Properly process and dispose of waste, including municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste.
  • Remove trash, recyclables, and soiled linen from assigned work areas and disinfect receptacles and carts as needed.
  • Adhere to all Aramark appearance standards and wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) while working.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role and knowledge of floor care equipment and use is preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others and perform simple mathematical calculations.
Working Conditions

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
