We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Software Engineer to join our digital/e-commerce team at PDSSOFT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for our iOS and Android mobile applications using React Native.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and UX designers to improve functionality and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop modular and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React Native.
  • Develop and update shared component libraries to enable rapid iteration.
  • Write performant, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Mentor and coach mid-level and junior-level developers.
  • Translate functional requirements into responsive components and pages using a mobile-first mentality.
  • Schedule and coordinate changes and releases for production applications.
  • Champion accessibility best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience with JavaScript ES6, React, or React Native, Redux.
  • 3+ years of experience in Mobile (iOS & Android; either native or React Native).
  • 1+ years of experience with statically typed language (Go, C, C++, Rust, etc).
  • Experience in Responsive and Adaptive Web Design.
  • Experience in designing and developing UI for various devices.
  • Solid coding practices including regular code reviews, documentation, and version control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in performance tuning of the front-end elements.
  • Passion for keeping up to speed with the latest software tools and methodologies.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Preference for agile development and familiarity with its tools like Jira.

Preferred Skills: Go, GraphQL, Backend experience on leading e-commerce platforms.
