Key Responsibilities

  • Work a 10-hour shift on a fixed 4-day work week, with 8-6:30 pm hours
  • Patients are scheduled in 1-hour blocks
  • Paperwork is integrated into the daily schedule
  • MedBridge membership and opportunities for continuing education are available
  • Individual therapy workspaces are provided, with a 1:1 therapist-to-patient ratio in each treatment area
  • 2-hour blocks are allocated for evaluations
  • A variety of patient diagnoses are encountered
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of STs, OTs, and PTs is essential

Qualifications

  • Education: A degree from an accredited speech therapy program is required
  • Licenses/Certifications: A valid license or provisional permit to practice speech therapy in the state of practice and current CPR certification are necessary
  • Preferred Qualification: 2 years of experience in pediatrics is desirable
