We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our team at Pop-Up Talent. As a key member of our exploration team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and characterizing geothermal reservoirs to enable the responsible and efficient development of geothermal power generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute geothermal exploration projects, generating new geothermal prospects and managing data collection and drilling programs across the western United States.
  • Conduct proficient technical geoscience evaluations of geothermal prospects through subsurface and surface mapping, well data analysis, and modeling.
  • Participate in data acquisition programs for geophysical and drilling campaigns, informing quick operational decisions in our drilling campaigns.
Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in geology/geophysics or related scientific field.
  • Ability to integrate various geological and geophysical datasets to influence business decisions.
  • Proven track record of generating successful new play concepts and exploration targets in the geothermal, petroleum, or mineral industries.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: 3D modeling, gravity collection and interpretation, magneto telluric collection and interpretation, geochemistry of geothermal systems, or reservoir engineering.
