Job Summary:We are looking for a Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong background in psychiatric nursing. As a Travel Nurse RN Psychiatric Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' medical and emotional status, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' medical and emotional status and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer and monitor medications, including psychotropic drugs
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff to design and implement treatment plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient progress and outcomes
- Current RN licensure in the United States
- Experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably in a travel setting
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
