Elliott Aviation, a world-class provider of comprehensive and customer-focused solutions for business aviation, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Paint Technician to join our team at the Quad Cities International Airport in Milan, IL.

About the Role

As an Aircraft Paint Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in all phases of aircraft painting while maintaining compliance with all safety, company, federal, state, and local regulations. You will work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians, and will be expected to communicate well in straightforward situations.

Responsibilities
  • Apply sealer and masks the aircraft using tapes and paper products in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes
  • Clean and sand in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processes
  • Apply etch and anti-corrosion coating to aircraft and rinse
  • Apply paint to the aircraft interior and exterior surfaces
  • Polish and detail exterior paint
  • Fabricate stencils, mix paints, layout and apply stripes, layout and apply insignias
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
  • Experience in auto or aircraft painting preferred
