We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in the public school system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language skills to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address communication disorders.
  • Deliver direct therapy to students with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed progress records to track student growth and progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop and implement student-centered plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Florida Department of Education Professional Educator Certificate in Speech-Language Impaired (K-12).
  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Florida State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Florida Department of Education Professional Educator Certificate in Speech-Language Impaired (K-12).

Work Environment:

  • School-based setting, interacting with students, parents, and school personnel.
