Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans in Wilmington, North Carolina.

About the Job

This 13-week contract requires working 40 hours per week, with an estimated salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 based on 8-hour shifts and experience as an MRI Technologist. The job offers a tax-free stipend amount, which will be determined upon confirmation.

Responsibilities
  • Operate specialized MRI equipment to produce high-resolution images of internal organs, tissues, and structures within the body.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to review MRI images and assist in the interpretation of findings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging data and scan results, for physician review.
Requirements
  • Certified MRI Technologist (CMR) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Prior experience as an MRI Technologist.
